Synopsis

You receive the error "Access control configuration prevents your request from being allowed at this time" and a web site is blocked even though you may have an OPEN policy assigned to your username/PC

This error is displayed when an entry in the URL Keyword Filter matches part of the web site you are trying to access.

The URL Keyword Filter is global to all users/computers and it overrides any policy that is in use. You should review your list of keywords under Filters -> URL Keyword Filter and remove the offending word. Ensure that you enter really specific keywords or terms into the filter to avoid creating false positives.
