Synopsis: This article explains how to allow Citrix applications through the CensorNet proxy without requiring authentication and without filtering the traffic.

Go to Filters -> Filter Bypass Module -> Bypass Categories and create a new category called "Citrix".

Now add the following two entries to the Citrix category:-

xx.xx.xx.*:1494
xx.xx.xx.*:2398
xx.xx.xx.*:2598

Replacing xx.xx.xx with your subnet range (e.g. 192.168.1.* or 10.0.0.* etc) OR if you only have a small number of Citrix servers you can enter their IP addresses explicitly.

You must also tell Squid to allow port numbers over 1024. To do this, follow the instruction in the "Connecting to a site on a non-standard port" article but use the port numbers 1494, 2398 and 2598. For assistance please contact Technical Support.
