CensorNet to open Hosted Web Security node in the US

We are very pleased to announce that due to unprecedented demand for our cloud web filtering solution we will be launching a US-based service in February 2012. The service will be operated via our cloud infrastructure partner in SwitchNAP's Las Vegas data centre campus and will provide excellent connectivity to North and South America and Canada.

Tim Lloyd, Managing Director of CensorNet Ltd said "This is part of our expansion plans to make our Hosted Web Security platform available globally. It is a testament to the design of the product that we already have customers in the US using it and it is currently located in European datacentres, so opening a local node will mean we can service those customers even more easily.". Hosted Web Security is not just a product but it also provides a REST API for developers to integrate web filtering services into their own applications. Having a local presence in the US will boost the performance of these third party applications as well.
