Anonymous proxy detection
The service protects against zero-hour (or unclassified) anonymous proxy sites, or sites containing links to anonymisers.

Allows you to maintain your own database of web sites for use in policies and to override the URL reputation service.
Policy manager
The Policy Manager allows you to easily manage an unlimited number of policies, which can be applied globally, per group or per user.
Unfiltered mode
Unfiltered mode allows completely unfiltered access to the Internet but will still log web access. Ideal for a stealth deployment.
Blocked mode
Blocked mode will deny web access to any user it is applied to. They will not be able to browse the web.
Restricted mode
Restricted mode creates a walled garden and will only allow the user to visit web sites and categories that have been pre-approved by the administrator.
Filtered mode
Filtered mode will allow the administrator to define which filtering modules, and their respective options, are active within the policy.
Scheduler
The Scheduler allows the administrator to quickly and easily assign policies to users or groups which are active at different times of the day or week.
User manager
Easily maintain a list of users and their groups using a tree control with drag and drop functionality. Create new users, move users, delete users with the click of a button. Users can be part of a group and inherit the group policy or instead have their own individual policy.
User import
Import users, groups and passwords from CSV for ease of management.
Administrator users
specify any number of users to be an administrator user with full access to the web console.
Unblock requests
The Unblock Manager allows your users to request that a page is unblocked if they feel it has been incorrectly blocked. Users can specify a reason and request an automatic e-mail when their request has been dealt with by the administrator.
Analyse
The Analyse option allows you to query the log files in near-real-time, based on time, date, user, domain and filter action. The results can be exported to CSV or PDF.
Reports
A selection of canned reports providing quick access to activity by user, domain and category over a customised time period.
User identification
Users are identified by their e-mail address which can be imported from Active Directory.
Single sign-on
Cloud Link provides a single sign-on style of authentication, meaning the users web activity is linked to them without them needing to manually log in each time they access the web..
MSI Package
The Cloud Link software can be installed from an MSI via Group Policy for easy deployment on networks.
Security
The Cloud Link service cannot be stopped, uninstalled or re-confgured without knowing the administrator password.
Application filtering
The Cloud Link client can be configured to ignore web traffic from applications running on the computer, e.g. Skype, Anti-virus software.
Bypass hosts
The Cloud Link client can be configured to bypass filtering for certain hostnames or IP addresses (e.g. anti-virus updates, Windows updates, intranet servers, etc).
Fail open
The Cloud Link client can fail open should there be a problem accessing the Hosted Web Security service (e.g. temporary routing issue with your ISP).
