Add-On Modules
On-Demand Anti-Virus (due Summer 2010)
The anti-virus add-on module will scan web pages and files for viruses, trojans, spyware and other threats before they are downloaded to the Web browser. The module will attempt to disinfect but if this is not possible the page will be blocked. This enhanced protection stops any dangerous malware entering your network at the perimeter for complete security.

Malware Prevention (available now)
This is an extension to the existing Web Site database that adds millions of executable files on the Internet which have been scanned for malware and categorised according to whether they are clean or contain malware. This allows you to block known malware sites/files from even being accessed by the Web browser. Running on its own this module dramatically increases your protection or combined with the On-Demand Anti-Virus module provides an unprecedented level of safety for your network.

Phishing Protection (available now)
Phishing sites are usually broadcast via e-mail first and then links within the e-mail are clicked to visit fake Web sites that pretend to be legitimate companies. The web sites attempt to trick users into providing confidential data, such as bank details, and are therefore extremely dangerous to companies and individuals alike. This module includes the Anti-Phishing Work Group's (APWG) list of known sites to the database so that CensorNet can block the web sites immediately, whether they are clicked on accidentally or intentionally from e-mails or other web sites. |
