System Requirements

CensorNet™ MailSafe is a fully managed service that requires no special hardware or software to be installed other than an operational e-mail server such as Microsoft® Exchange, Exim/Sendmail or similar.

The system works by receiving e-mail that is destined for your domain name - this is achieved with a small change to your domain name record. The e-mail messages are then scanned, filtered and cleaned according to rules that suit your organisation and then the e-mail is forwarded on to your e-mail server where it is delivered to the recipient. Simple and effective.

To use CensorNet™ MailSafe, you will need:
• An operational SMTP e-mail server.
• Your own domain name.
• Web browser with Javascript & AJAX support.
• Adobe Flash Player & Reader.
