Quick Installation Guide

The following steps provide a brief overview for experienced Linux administrators to understand the steps to install CensorNet™ Professional. You should refer to the Installation Guide for comprehensive, step by step, instructions.

Steps to Install

• Download the Debian 5.0 Lennny net-install CD-ROM image and burn to CD. [From UK][From USA][From Australia][From Debian]

• Install the standard Debian base system (no Desktop, unless you want one!)

• Configure a static IP address by modifying /etc/network/interfaces

• Add deb http://apt.censornet.com lenny non-free to the /etc/apt/sources.list file

• Run apt-get update

• Run apt-get install censornet

• Run setup to configure network settings.

• Connect to http://ip.of.censornet/censornet/ with username admin password password.
