Censornet has been selected as finalist for the 2018 Cyber Security Awards. Its Unified Security Service (USS) is in the running for the award Innovative Product of the Year – Cloud Based, following a year of innovation combined with an ambitious roadmap for the platform.

The Cyber Security Awards were established in 2014, to reward the best individuals, teams and companies within the cyber security industry. The Cyber Security Awards team reviews the industry looking for the best possible applicants, with excellence and innovation as the core themes throughout all categories. As the only cloud security vendor that can help organisations protect against cyber security threats across all major threat infection vectors, through one cloud platform – Censornet certainly fits the bill.

“We’re delighted to be shortlisted for this prestigious award, which is a great validation of our product strategy,” said Ed Macnair, CEO of Censornet. “In today’s security environment, organisations need a multitude of solutions and the process of procuring and managing them all separately is overwhelming and frustrating – not to mention costly in terms of resources, time, and cash. Our innovation is to remove this pain by combining all core security services into one easy to manage platform. This also means organisations are getting full visibility into their network and threat protection in real time. Censornet’s shortlisting for a most innovative product award is a great recognition that our approach is making security simpler and more convenient for companies, so they can act more decisively in protecting their businesses.”

Awards judge Karla Reffold said “this year there were a record number of entrants and the competition this year has been incredibly high. Being named as a finalist is a great achievement and I can already tell picking the winners is going to be a challenge! There are so many fantastic individuals, innovative products and companies that are doing great things within cyber security. The whole awards are a great showcase of British achievement within cyber.”

The winners will be announced at the Cyber Security Awards dinner and presentation at the Park Plaza Hotel, Victoria, on the 21st of June 2018.
