Full Stack Developer

Salary: Competitive salary, share options & benefits package

We are recruiting for an experienced remote-first Full Stack developer to join a team that is responsible for the application layer of our Cloud Security (SaaS) platform.

The API and UI provide the glue between Censornet’s core security offerings of Cloud Application Security Broker, Web Security, Email Security and Authentication. As a result, you would be exposed to all areas of the platform, work across development teams and be responsible for third-party integrations.

We are looking for a passionate developer who has the experience to take our mature platform forward, maintain code quality, and increase the momentum of new features and improvements. Whilst the code base is mature, there are certainly always new challenges as we are increasingly migrating elements to AWS, serverless and utilising new development techniques to increase efficiency and quality.

Hear from our team

I have worked at Censornet for 3.5 years now. I originally joined as I was coming from a large corporation and wanted a job where I could have a real impact on the success of the business and the Cybersecurity industry felt like it would provide a constantly evolving challenge.

I enjoy working with a small team of colleagues where we can architect and implement solutions in the way we feel is best for any given problem. The company as a whole is a very tight knit group and it is always nice to meet up with everyone at our company events.

If you enjoy a challenge and like an environment where you have a large degree of control over the work you do then Censornet is the place for you!
Senior Developer
I’ve worked at Censornet for 5 and a half years now. One of the main things that attracted me to Censornet was the product.

I’ve worked in various industries before but had never had such an interest in the product that they offered. So for me, it was the excitement of getting to work with the security platform and various products that Censornet offer.

Since joining Censornet, although the security platform and products still interest me, the thing I now like most about the company is culture and the people. Censornet employs a lot of like-minded people, so it really is a great place to work and have fun whilst doing so! My advice to anyone who is considering joining Censornet and may have multiple job offers is to ask to meet your team and the people you will be working with.
QA Lead
I have now worked at Censornet for a little over 5 years. This is the longest I’ve ever worked for a single company in my entire adult life, which I think in itself, speaks volumes. I chose to work at Censornet as I could see from the outset that this was not just another “handle turning” job, churning out boiler plate code to replicate already solved problems. I could see that this was an ever changing product, striving for excellence in an every changing field.

Censornet since then has become like a family. Despite the growth of the company during this time there is still that feeling you get within a start-up, everyone knows everyone else and (in the rare occasions these days) when we get to meet up, it’s like we’ve known each other forever.

My advice to anyone considering a career in research and development at Censornet would be: be prepared to bring your “A game”, to innovate and to thing outside of the box.
Senior Web Developer
I love how Censornet challenges me every day, but I still have never felt so supported. There is a real team mentality, which only happens when every single person is pushing towards the same goal.

I feel really lucky working for a company that is genuinely making a difference. Censornet is offering something no one else can, and we are constantly pushing ourselves to be better.
